ALTERNATIVE · BETTER PROPOSALS
A Better Proposals alternative without the monthly bill.
Better Proposals is a solid product. We respect it. But its pricing model is subscription-based. If you send under 30 proposals a year, paying every month — including months you don't send anything — may not be the best fit.
When Better Proposals is the right pick
- You want to collect payment directly — when the proposal is signed (Stripe integration)
- You need a deep template library — with many starting points
- You send 30+ proposals a year — (the subscription math starts to break even)
- Integrated payment + e-signature + tracking — in one tool matters to you
When proposalonce is enough
- You bill separately after the proposal is accepted (most freelancers do)
- You send under 30 proposals a year
- You prefer paying per usage, not monthly
- 6 well-crafted templates is more than enough

FAQ
Can proposalonce collect payment?
Not built in. Most solo creators invoice separately after acceptance. If integrated payment is critical, Better Proposals or HoneyBook are better matches.
Does proposalonce have legal e-signatures?
No. We log Accept with IP and timestamp — an audit trail, not a court-grade e-signature. Better Proposals' digital signature is closer to legally binding.
Can I keep using my Better Proposals templates?
You'd need to manually copy text into our 6 templates. Direct import isn't supported.
